The Royal Chateau of Blois (château royal de Blois in French) is one of the most famous chateaux in the Loire Valley of France. The chateau of Blois is complex from an architectural point of view because it combines many different styles as the castle evolved over the centuries, from Gothic style to Flamboyant style to Renaissance style to Classical style.
We were also able to get a behind-the-scene access to parts of the chateau that are normally closed to the public, such as the beautiful roof structure form the 13th century.
