In today's video, I finally check off one of the mods ive been wanting to do for the RSX for a long time, ever since I got the car. I finally went with the Skunk2 Alpha Header to go along with my Skunk2 Megapower RR 3" Exhaust. It sounds so much better than the PLM in my opinion and the biggest thing of all for me is that I finally have no leaks! It made the RSX have a more deeper and more aggressive tone to it, it reminds me of a subie how the header makes it roar and growl. The car has a nice rumble to it when im at idle which sounds so mean! The install took around 2 hours in total, 30 mins to remove the old PLM header and an hour and a half to put the header in. One tip i will give you guys to save the hassle of installing the Alpha Header is to take off your oil filter, because it will save you a lot of time and headache instead of finding that perfect angle to squeeze the Alpha Header through. Out of 10 difficulty, 1 being easiest, 10 being the hardest, it was a 3-4. Simple bolt on and very easy after you slide that header in.
