Cartonnage - the art of box making ! With this amazing technique we can make boxes and so many other projects out of cardboard, fabric and glue - with no-sewing!
As fabric does not glue immediately we need the help of some masking tape to keep everything connected during the drying time! So, after overnight, it's time to remove all the tapes and in this magic moment....just see our beautiful creation for the first time! Just a great time!
Follow me here as I remove the tapes of a box I just recorded a video tutorial. It's a variation from the Treasure chest, a project of my book published in 2017 - Cartonnage Basics & Beyond. But this time, there is a "hidden compartment" on it! Very exciting, lots of fun making and for sure using it!
