Another weekly WWF RAW vs WCW Nitro television battle takes place on Reliving The War.
The main event scene in WCW focuses now on Hulk Hogan vs Roddy Piper. Eric Bischoff is on the road this week, trying to get Roddy Piper (and Roddy's managers) to sign a contract, a contract that would allow the Hot Rod to face Hollywood Hogan at an upcoming pay per view. Bischoff calls into the show a little later with a status update. Matches on Nitro include Chris Jericho vs M Wallstreet, a Lex Luger vs Booker T rematch, and the company also begins a tournament to crown a new WCW Womens Champion.

On the WWF channel, history is made. WWF Raw has moved into an earlier timeslot and to mark the occasion, Brian Pillman gets interviewed from his home. When Stone Cold Steve Austin shows up, Brian feels he has no choice but to defend himself in the most extreme way imaginable. This weeks Raw includes the infamous "Pillmans got a gun" segments that landed the WWF in some hot water with the USA Network.
