Competitive Kirby Air Ride City Trial: players battle their way to the top in a Netplay tournament in the Spring of 2023, with the incentive to win some of the prize pool of 150$.
A total of 16 players participated in this tournament.

Kirby Air Ride is a Gamecube game that has a competitive scene that has been growing more than ever before!
Via Netplay, the game can be played online with a controller on the computer via a special Dolphin Emulator build optimized for Kirby Air Ride Online. Matches are played in the Kirby Air Ride Netplay Discord community. Occasionally, tournaments are hosted with stream and prize pot.


Players had their own fullscreen when they were playing, and weren't able to see their opponents screen.
Matches are played on the Hackpack of UnclePunch, to enhance the competitiveness with extra settings, more Kirby colors and QoL features. For example, rear view is added when pressing the X button. And the Item Frequency has been set to High, suiting the modern competitive Kirby Air Ride ruleset. Also certain Stadiums and Events were disabled, like Vs King Dedede.
Apart from that, things are basically the same as vanilla Kirby Air Ride.
