Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programs are under fire as some conservative critics claim that they give under qualified people positions. DEI initiatives aim to force employers to look at every qualified candidate regardless of race, religion or sexual orientation with the goal of diversifying ideas. At public colleges across the country, DEI staff is being fired to comply with new state laws that ban the programs.
