I'm the new Mr Gay Canada for 2019! Can you believe it?!? I think I'm still in a bit of shock! And that means that I'll be going to the Mr Gay World competition in South Africa later this year to compete for that title as well! It all seems pretty crazy, but I'm super excited and honored... and bringing you along with me on the journey!

For the past few years a new Mr Gay Canada has been chosen from members of the community who they feel will be a good representative at the Mr Gay World competition. It's based on a number of factors that include things like social responsibility, intelligence and appearance, among others.

This is the first video in my new series "Being Mr Gay Canada" where I'll show you what goes on behind the scenes, put a spotlight on some amazing organizations, and check out some interesting places and inspiring LGBT people!

A new "episode" will be uploaded every 2 weeks, but I'll have plenty of other videos in between those so be sure to click on that red subscribe button if you haven't already!
