A spokesperson for the European Commission Mina Andreeva said there can be no renegotiation of the Brexit deal reached with the government of the United Kingdom. She said no further meetings between the EU and Britain are planned and it is now up to the British people and parliament to make their decisions. She said the EU had started the ratification process. It will be ready to start preparations for negotiations on a future partnership as soon as the withdrawal agreement is signed.
