Splash Mountain has returned from a month refurbishment at Tokyo Disneyland. This version of the attraction is not getting a reimagining anytime soon as there are no plans for it. A cast member even told us that they will do their best to protect this version of Splash Mountain. I went to Tokyo Disneyland this winter instead of the US parks as Splash Mountain closed for good at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World and I wasn't planning on returning to the US parks until Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens. This was a good substitute for the time being. I will be sure to return to Tokyo Disneyland in the near future (a couple years from now) so that I can ride Splash Mountain in it's original glory as well as enjoying Tiana's Bayou Adventure in the US!
