Lenovo ThinkPad e14 gen 1, beeping when I press the start button
-does not stop beeping when start, no unmute/no volume down, cannot restart (the beep is soooo annoying)
-NO SOLUTION YET but have a workaround (if you do not want to surrender in service centers/technician)
WORKAROUND instruction/step
1. is to drain the battery/wait to stop the beeping sound.
2. plugin the charger wait some time to charge then power it on(sometimes failed so it will beep and you need to drain the battery again).
3. If successfully open
DO NOT let your battery drain again and
DO NOT turn off your laptop ever again( set the power setting to NEVER turn off)
NOTE: This is only a workaround and not a solution it can happen again on different scenarios as my experience on both laptops with E14 gen 1 and gen 2
I also do not know the cause, but it is probably because
1. I forgot to close the apps, remove the charger, close the lid/screen, sleep mode takes some battery and drains, then the problem exists...
2. I forgot to close the apps and close the lid/screen, then maybe a memory error upon turning it on again
