India delivered HAL-made two Dornier 228 planes to Guyana. The planes were facilitated by Boeing C-17 globemaster military transport planes. The delivery follows president Mohamed Irfaan Ali's visit to HAL on January 23. He expressed interest in Hindustan 228 to Protect Guyana's territory and its people. The Dornier -228 is a highly versatile twin-engine turboprop aircraft.
