My Review
Well, this is a lovely deck, and I am pleasantly surprised at the packaging. So many decks within these large boxes tend to sit precariously within the box without support, so they slide around. These have a properly designed 'pit' and a ribbon to remove them easily without damaging the cards. Yes, I like that. I also like the magnetic clasp at the side and the colour work both on the outside and the inside of the box, which draws you in.
The card stock is good, although, as I said in the video, it's not the best I've come across but pretty average for modern-day decks. Since recording the video, I have shuffled them – and they are a joy to handle, making them very workable.
The colours are beautiful and the illustrations encourage you to look deeper. These cards are particularly good for close-up work; the more you look, the more you see. Symbolically this could be a game-changer in your readings.
The accompanying book is simply written and gives you enough information to form your own interpretation if you are a beginner. If you are an experienced reader, you may get some additional insight from the book, but I feel the cards themselves would be enough to give a thorough and accurate reading.
Would I recommend this deck? Yes, it is a good all-rounder and if you are drawn to all things related to witches and wizards this would be a lovely addition to your collection.
