Welcome to My Barrio My Mundo, and welcome to my neighbourhood here in Eindhoven, Brainport. Brainpoort, known as the most intelligent and high tech city in the country. However, it is surrprisingly green (rather gray since this is shot during the winter). Join me on this morning jog and I will show you the beautiful scenery of Eindhoven. We are walking along the woods of the River Dommel.
Short background of the city:
The largest town in southern Netherlands (and the fifth largest in the country), Eindhoven is well worth exploring. It is known by locals as "Lichtstad" - the City of Light - due to its connections with electronics giant Philips.

Its rapid growth began soon after the establishment of the Philips works in 1891 and later by the founding of the car and truck manufacturer, DAF. A busy university town, the city is home to a not many tourist attractions but for shopping. It's also notable for its connection to Vincent Van Gogh who lived and painted in the nearby village of Neunen.

But above all, it has beautiful parks!
