Since 2014 Scott Dean has been a Spectrum News One Broadcast Meteorologist in the Triad and occasionally in the Triangle and Wilmington, North Carolina markets. Before that he was Chief Meteorologist at WWAY-TV in Wilmington, North Carolina for five years.
