Mojito. The National Drink of Cuba! This popular Cuban classic has some reports of first appearing at a bar called Sloppy Joe's in Havana, Cuba in 1928. This classic rum drink is a cocktail in the sour family with the addition of mint and seltzer.
In this episode, of Your Request, I step in to recreate this classic cocktail the authentic Classic Cuban way, how some cocktail bars make it, and, finally using a more modern technique by using housemade Mint Syrup.
