Sony has developed what they cal Saptial Reality displays, which we believe are eye-track super-multiview stereoscopic displays. Sony curretly offers a 15" model and they were showing new 27" prototypoes at CES. The base display is 4K resolution with an optical layer, probably lenticular, to create stereo pairs. They showed 5 demo applications: sports, medical, cityscape, CAD and game demos - all with synthetic content - no video. Driving each display is a PC using an Unreal engine to ingest and re-render the content for the format needed for the display.
