Arcturus Brinq helps smart cities "crowd source" road damage by equipping public transit vehicles or city fleet vehicles with stereoscopic RGB+Depth (RGBD) cameras. This approach provides 2D qualitative classification of 4 types of road damage as well 3D quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis adds a new dimension in understanding the severity and progression of potholes, making it possible to prioritize repairs before accidents or disruption occur.
