폼페이오 "중국은 자유세계에 대한 위협"... 중국 인권유린도 비판
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Sunday that China is a "growing challenge" to both the U.S. and Israel... and that the Trump administration views China as a threat to their "way of life."
Speaking at the American Jewish Committee's virtual conference, Pompeo attacked Beijing for its foreign policy and for violating human rights.
He said the world should be alert to the Chinese Communist Party's "threat to our way of life" and accused China of using disinformation campaigns in other countries.
Last week, Pompeo also said that China is more and more strongly oppressing religious freedom.
