People around the world marked the World Aids Day on Sunday December 1st, under the theme “Take the rights path: My Health, My right!” and called on global leaders and citizens to champion the right to health by addressing inequalities that hamper progress to ending AIDS. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Dr. Samuel Kinyanjui, the Kenya Country Program Director for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, about the progress to end HIV/AIDS and the stigma associated with the disease as well as treatment offered to those living with HIV.
