Sant.Tulasidas was an ardent devotee of Lord Rama who envisioned the Ramayana as written by Sage Valmiki and at one composed the RamCharith Manas and Hanuman Chalisa, two epic poems in Awadhi language.
It is well known that Lord Hanuman always sat next to Sant. TulasiDas ever since He started composing RamCharith Manas.
Sant.Tulasi Das composed the above Bhajan in Awadhi language on Lord Rama. Awadhi (close cousin to Hindi) was the language during the time of Lord Rama , which was spoken in Ayodhya.
It is well known that Ram and Lakshman gave Sant.Tulasidas Their divine vision in their Vanvasi attire, when they saw the Saint honor the Sages who came before Them.
It is my good fortune to be in the company of great Bhakthas like Sant.Tulasidas while I sing one of His Bhajans.
