This road is along the south edge of the city and is also known as Katraj-Hadapsar Bypass Road. The sections of the road that were not properly constructed are constructed now and the road is completely concrete from Khadi Machine chowk to Manterwadi Chowk, and the ride is pretty smooth compared to what it was a few months ago. The heavy vehicles coming from western side of Pune and going towards Solapur/Saswad use this road to bypass city. Lots of residential projects are coming up along the road and the area is emerging as a real estate hotspot.
