On some previous test videos we posted about comparing the RX modules from different manufacturers, we've got requests from our customers to compare the new Fat Shark OLED receiver module in racing condition. This video is exactly that, we recorded the performance on 4 different races, with low power, low gain onmi-directional antennas, low power high gain directional antennas, 200mW race low gain omni-directional antennas and finally 200mW race with high gain directional antenna on the OLEd module. The True-D 3.5 module all the time had a hgh gain directional and a low gain omni directional installed. The results speak for themselves. The True-D with 2 antennas does not perform any better than the new OLED receiver module with a single antenna.
Please also note that contrary to some suggestions on different forums, the True-D 3.5 module does not fit in the Fat Shark Attitude V4 goggles nicely. It can be plugged in without modification, but you will need to hold it in place with tape or some other ingenious solution to make it stay.
