All right, you awesome champions taking you through the kick serve in this video, giving you some of the most important tips to improve your kick serve. First thing you want to watch is make sure that your racket is going from low to high and to the right. If you don't go over the ball from low to high, you will not have a kick serve. Secondly, your grip needs to be on Bevel one or continental grip. This is the only way you're gonna get proper kick. You can also use some awesome intervention drills to improve your kick serve by standing behind the fence and serving over the fence. Also, be very sure on your kick serve to have the ball drop low enough so that you can hit up on the ball if you contact the ball too high on your kick, you'll end up hitting a slice and not a kick serve. And then lastly, make sure that the ball is to the left but not too far behind you. The ball should be in front of you, but to the left so that you can turn your body and kick up and over the ball. Thank you for subscribing.

A successful kick serve will hit your opponent's side of the court and bounce shoulder-high, where your opponent will struggle to hit it. To achieve this bounce, you'll need to serve both fast and at a steep downward angle, making sure to hit through the ball so the topspin doesn't send it hurtling into the net .
How do you aim a kick serve?
The contact point of the kick serve is slightly behind your head and over your left shoulder (for a right-handed player). Not only do you need to toss it into this location, but you will need to allow the ball to fall lower than you would on other serves
How fast should a kick serve be?
11, that the ball needs to be served at a speed greater than 80 mph for a good kick serve. At 80 mph, the ball bounces to a height of just over 4.5 feet, regardless of the spin and serve angle.
Of all the serves, the kick serve is arguably the most valuable and highly sought after for players to learn. However, it's often one of the most challenging serves to develop.
So on the baseline. We want to throw the ball more to our left and slightly behind our head which will allow us to hit the ball

Add power to your kicks as you keep practicing.
Do pros use kick serve?
Pros commonly use kick serves on the first serves. It is hard for me to think of any that consistently don't use a kick on the 2nd though, except for rare cases of like big servers just going for an aggressive flat 2nd serve when they're up in a game.
Kick Serve Pronation
First, you'll not have as much pronation on this type of serve as you do in your flat serve. The strings will face in a different direction at the finish. Your arm will bend more and stay to the side of the body with the strings facing towards the back fence at the point of pronation.
