In a press conference, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced the expulsion of six Canadian diplomats from India. The diplomats, including Acting High Commissioner Stewart Ross Wheeler and Deputy High Commissioner Patrick Hebert, have been asked to leave the country by October 19, 2024. This move comes amidst rising diplomatic tensions between India and Canada, further straining their already fragile relations.
