This technique is for real cutting practise either on paper, tatami or even a small bamboo, if you have a good basic for tameshigiri, especially using the right Hasuji dan Shibori.
This particular technique i post i about using the centre push to add more power to the cut.
Make sure to practise with dull sword and with slow movement first, after you manage to get the right form and feel, then you can gradually increase the speed.
the speed is the by product of a good perfected form of the technique, so just put your training in the good form then the speed will come along the way.
