Did you know that the car restrictions in Singapore date 60 years back? Singapore is making a lot of efforts to improve its liveability and to become a car-lite nation. For some time now, they have been trying to turn public transport intro a "luxury-like" service and to improve their cycling infrastructure. This new UMX video is the second part of a two-episode series delving into Singapore's unique car restrictions and their impact on the city's urban mobility. Featuring the excellent Paul Barter (Urban Transport Researcher and Policy Advisor based in Singapore), the first episode focused on the history of Singapore's car restrictions, while this second episode explores on how Singapore is aiming for a car-lite future. 🚗
