I use the Hamilton beach One Scoop Coffee maker. Now the coffee maker instructions say to use coffee ground in a specific way and to load the coffee holder/strainer up to a specific level. But by doing this the result is weak and bland. I have to load twice the amount of coffee if the beans are ground to "fine ground". It splashes drops all over regardless of cup height, but the shorter the cup, the worse the splashes. It has taken about 3 days to fine tune my cup of coffee now, but am enjoying the process for the most part. I had to regrind the bag of pre-ground coffee to yet another level using my home coffee grinder and it almost looks like an espresso grind now. Overall I say this coffee maker is rated about a 7 out of 10.
