June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day. This year marks a significant milestone, the 25th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day.
As a newcomer to Canada, it is really important for me to learn about my new adopted country, and to honour those who were here before us.
During my first week as The Saskatchewanderer, I filmed this piece with my good friend, Boyce Morin. Boyce is a Cree speaker, author, storyteller, musician, father, fitness fanatic and University professor.
Today I am leaning into the Cree teachings from Boyce's latest book, Sun & Moon.
