"TOBE under construction" is the video of TOBE, the first outcome of a changeable sculptural ensemble.

The study is focused on the deconstruction of the concept of “measure” seen as a synonym for otherness’ confrontation and comparison by altering the most ordinary tool of measurement: the folding ruler.
The digits are missing and, likewise, the preordered tidiness of a one-way path is shattered. Unexpected changes of direction are created and a three-dimensional structure with its own stability comes forth.
The use of ceramics and its fragile, inflexible texture match the harshness of the metal bolts which are the vital ligaments of the structure itself. They underline the absolute devotion in the practice of this artistic assembling: tightened - but not too much else it breaks; not too little else it falls apart.
I am mostly interested in the process, which makes this work stand somewhere between mantra and divertissement. Following its shape and its gravitational and emotional needs, is my greatest concern. An ever-changing trial for the creation of the object in itself.
