IT - Nella giornata di Lunedì 12 Febbraio 2018, la E494.040, prima unità della famiglia TRAXX DC3 di Bombardier ordinate in oltre 60 esemplari tra Mercitalia Rail, TX Logistic, Captrain Italia e GTS Rail, è stata trasferita dallo stabilimento di Vado Ligure verso Firenze Osmannoro, dove la attenderanno circa tre settimane di test curati da Italcertifer, necessari per ottenere l'omologazione.
La macchina, in livrea societaria provvisoria, è stata trainata dalla E483.106 di DB Schenker Italia, con l'ausilio di 9 carri Eaos utili a creare massa frenata.
EN - On Monday, February 12th, 2018, the E494.040, the first unit of the Bombardier TRAXX DC3 family ordered in over 60 specimens between Mercitalia Rail, TX Logistics, Captrain Italia and GTS Rail, was transferred from the Vado Ligure plant to Firenze Osmannoro, where it will face up to three weeks of tests requested from Italcertifer, necessary to obtain the homologation.
The locomotive, in a temporary company livery, was prepared by DB Schenker Italia E483.106, with the help of 9 Eaos wagons to create mass.
