An easy way to test if the lower ball joint is worn and in need of replacement. It should not be possible to move vertically like this!
*Note the test here is to try and raise the hub. It's important to have the wheel free in the air by raising the lower control arm. If you only raise the chassis, the control arms will be at full droop and ball joints may be binding, which can hide the displayed symptoms.
I recommend testing for this regularly - it's quick and can avoid a failure which leads to massive damage and a dangerous loss of control.
After 10 seconds the video also shows badly worn bearings which overheated the CV axle.
