During the 1990s, Croatia, Bosnia, and Serbia became a war zone. Political, religious, and historical reasons all played their part in this long, bloody conflict. BBC TV News sent many reporters , camera teams, editors, and facilities engineers into these war zones to report on the violence and suffering of the peoples of this region. Eric Powell was one of those brave & talented group of editors who travelled as pert of the BBC News teams reporing events, not only from war zones, but on stories from across the world.
