At the Supreme Court the justices are deciding whether to limit access to a widely used abortion pill. On Wednesday, Justice Samuel Alito delayed a ruling until today. The justices have until midnight to issue a ruling or delay it once again. Mifepristone is FDA approved, but many worry about its potential health dangers. Pro-life and pro-abortion supporters continue to gather on the steps of the Supreme Court. One of those gathered there was Alexandra McPhee who says, "When the Food and Drug Administration approved the drug they shouldn't have. It causes more complication than surgical abortions. It causes severe pain and bleeding and women report emotional trauma afterwards. Women don't deserve that." Dana Estes also spoke out saying, "I have an issue with late term abortions, etc. That is not acceptable to me. and I hope we have legislation that it is not allowed. But I don't have a problem with the abortion pill." At the Capitol, lawmakers are also speaking out. The abortion opponents who filed the case claim that the FDA's original approval of mifepristone 23 years ago and subsequent changes were flawed. The head of the FDA is worried about the effect a Supreme Court ruling could have on other drugs, and more. Capitol Hill Correspondent, Erik Rosales reports.
