I know I'm not the only one that thinks Scarlet Surge has aged like fine wine. Insendium really was ahead of their time when they build this level and it's easy to see that in its sync. Given the very limited amount of colors, it's impressive how well the level pulses them to keep it lively and feel like it's reacting to every note of the melody. This is probably most apparent in the first wave, where you can see the blocks pulse to the beat of the drum and the glow and air deco pulses to the synths. The gameplay is also really fun to play, it flows well and reminds me a lot of TamaN with his style of music sync. Scarlet Surge probably does a better job at visualizing and representing its song than 90% of rated levels nowadays, and it's a shame that Insendium didn't continue creating into 2.0 and 2.1 because I think they could have continued to make bangers.
