A roundtable discussion took place as part of the conference "Teresa of Avila 1515 to 2015: Mystical Theology and Spirituality in the Carmelite Tradition". This was held at St. Mary's University Twickenham in London in June 2015 as part of the "Teresa 500" celebrations marking the 5th centenary of the birth of St. Teresa of Avila. The roundtable considered whether Saint Teresa is an expert in negative (apophatic) theology. Participants were Professor Peter Tyler (St. Mary's University Twickenham), Dr. Edward Howells (Heythrop College, University of London), and Professor Sarah Coakley (University of Cambridge), and the session was chaired by Fr. Kevin Alban, O.Carm. For further information on Teresa visit www.teresaofavila.org and www.carmelite.org
