What is Anki?
Anki is a flashcard app designed for memory retention. If you need to recall the medical knowledge you learned weeks or even years ago, you should use Anki for medical school. You can create your own flashcards or use flashcard decks pre-made by other people (such as the AnKing). Anki uses a spaced repetition algorithm that ensures you never forget anything you learn. It’s so effective that over 80% of medical students in the US use it in their study routine.
Who are the AnKing?
The AnKing team are originally four medical students who attended the University of Utah School of Medicine. During medical school, they found that they loved Anki for medical school but that it was difficult to use. After creating videos about how to use Anki for their classmates, they decided to keep going and share their tips and advice with Anki users and medical students all over the world. Now, thousands of medical students use the AnKing decks to study medicine and retain the information that is crucial for the #USMLEs, #NBME #Shelf exams, and other tests. And having matched into top residencies, there are no better people to learn from.
