Modern floor lamps are designed with bases that are different than older floor lamps. In days gone by, floor lamp bases were solid pieces of metal. Today, they're hollow plastic filled with plaster. And guess what? They wear down over time and break! My floor lamp's base broke into pieces. But I found a resource online where I purchased a new floor lamp base that's a solid piece. In this video, I show you what happened!
