Japanese actress Miho Nakayama, was found dead at her home in the Shibuya district of Tokyo on Friday morning, as reported by NHK, Japan's national public broadcaster. Police were called to her residence shortly after noon and confirmed that she had died in the bathtub. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is currently underway.
On the same day, the Osaka concert for "Miho Nakayama Christmas Concert 2024 in Billboard Live," which was scheduled to take place, was canceled due to her reported poor health, according to Yahoo Japan.
Nakayama had a prolific career in film and television, appearing in numerous productions, including the critically acclaimed film Love Letter and the drama Kenja no Ai. Love Letter, in particular, is one of her most recognized works internationally, earning her significant acclaim and several Best Actress awards.
