يا خيرَ مَن دُفِنَت في التُّربِ أَعظُمُهُ فَطَابَ مِن طِيبهنَّ القَاعُ والأكَمُ
O best of whose bones were buried in the earth Giving from their blessings to landscapes and hills
نَفْسِي الفِدَاءُ لِقَبْرٍ أَنْتَ ساكنُهُ فيهِ العفافُ وفيهِ الجُودُ والكرَمُ I
give my soul in sacrifice to you Within your grave is chastity, generosity, and liberality
يا نَبيّْ.. سَلامٌ عليكَا
يا رسولْ.. سَلامٌ عليكَا يا حبيبْ.. سَلامٌ عليكَا
صَلواتُ اللهِ عليكَا
O Prophet, Peace be upon you. O Messenger, Peace be upon you. O Beloved, Peace be upon you. May Allāh raise your rank
أَشْرَقَ البدرُ علينا
فَاخْتَفَت مِنهُ البُدورْ مثلَ حُسنِكْ ما رأينا
قطُّ يا بَدْرَ البُدورْ
The full moon has risen over us Eclipsing all other moons. Such as your beauty we have never seen No, never, O face of delight!
أنتَ شمسٌ أنتَ بدرٌ
أنتَ نورٌ فوقَ نُورِ أنتَ إِكْسيرٌ وغالي
أنتَ مِصْبَاحُ الصُّدورِ
You are a sun, you are a full moon, You are light upon light, You are precious, You are the lamp [of guidance] in every chest
يا حبيبي يا مُحمَّد
يا أَجَلَّ الخافقَينِ يا مُؤيَّد.. يا مُمجَّد
يا إمامَ القبلتَينِ
O My beloved, O Muhammad, O the best of the East and the West, The one [Allāh] supported and exalted, O Imam of the Two Directions!
مَن رَأى وَجْهَكَ يَسْعَد
يا كريمَ الوالدَينِ حَوضُكَ الصَّافي المُفرَّد
وِرْدُنا يومَ النُّشورِ
Whoever has seen your face, will be delighted O, The One whose parents are very noble Your unique basin of pure water Is the place from where we drink on the day of resurrection
حَبيبي يا مُحمَّد.. يا نورَ عيني حَبيبي يا مُحمَّد.. جَدَّ الحُسينِ
O My beloved, O Muhammad, the light of my eyes O My beloved, O Muhammad, O grandfather of al-Husayn
طَلَعَ البَدْرُ علينا
مِن ثَنيَّاتِ الوَدَاعِ
وَجَبَ الشُّكرُ علينا
ما دَعا للهِ دَاعي
The full moon has risen over us From the path of al-Wada`. We shall ever give thanks for it As long as there will be callers to [the religion of] Allāh
أيُّها المَبْعُوثُ فينا
جِئتَ بالأمرِ المُطاعِ جِئتَ شَرَّفتَ المَدينةْ
مَرحبًا يا خيرَ دَاعي
Oh you who were sent to us Coming with a word to be obeyed You have brought to this city nobleness Welcome best caller to Islam
الصَّلاة والسَّلام عليكَ يا حَبيبي يا رسولَ الله صلَّى اللهُ على سَيِّدِنا رَسولِ الله صلَّى اللهُ على سَيِّدِنا عَظيمِ الجاه
Peace and blessings be upon my beloved one, O Messenger of Allāh May Allāh raise the rank of our Master, the Messenger of Allāh May Allāh raise the rank of our Master, the one who is high in rank
صلَّى الله على مُحمَّد صلَّى الله عَليهِ وَ سلَّم صلَّى الله على حَبيبِ الله
May Allāh raise the rank of Mohammad May Allāh raise his rank and protect his nation from that which he fears for it May Allāh raise the rank of the one beloved to Allāh
