This Bush record player belongs to a colleague at work and is in the process of being refurbished. It turns out when I opened the back cover the two values for the two stage amp are not as expected on the back of the knobs plate but at the back of the case with wires to the front plate.
I have since cleaned up the case and will be back with a update very soon.
The record is The Continental by Arthur Fielder and the Boston Pops ( with crack)
