In todays sunset landscape painting tutorial for beginners and intermediate painters. We are going to paint step by step a winter sunset over a lake.
This tutorial is designed to teach you how to blend with oils, How to paint a sunset in oils, how to mix realistic colours, how to use different types of brushes to create different effects. So you can paint at home this lovely sunset landscape oil painting.

I love being out in nature and this was based on a park near my home called Kelsey Park in Beckenham, Kent, UK. I thought the idea would make an awesome sunset lake painting for beginners. As the colours and composition are easy to recreate.
