Advent is a reminder of the waiting experienced by the world as they waited the arrival of their Savior. Waiting is not easy. Most of us do not wait well. But the gift of advent is that it does not depend on us; we are not faithful in our waiting, but in the fullness of time, God is faithful in His arriving. Through the themes of hope, peace, love, and joy we will look at the Christmas story and see God's faithfulness to us and the gifts He bring us in our own waiting.
