Their discussions revolved around the long-term perspective of the European budget before the extraordinary summit scheduled for February 20, while Brexit will result in less resources for the European Commission and that the member countries are very divided over the amount of the multiannual financial framework for the period 2021-2027.
During a press conference this morning, the Czech Prime Minister already said that he does not like the current proposal, which provides a reduction of 40 billion euros of the funds intended for the financing of the cohesion policy.
