This journey was filmed on Saturday 27th August 2022 on the 1019 service which called at all stations between Liverpool Street to Shenfield via Stratford and Romford. This service will soon only operate at peak times with most services going in to the central core of Crossrail from 6th November 2022.

As this service was filmed on a local service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield calling at most stations on the slow/relief lines throughout with the fast lines being used by Greater Anglia services on the Great Eastern Main Line. All Elizabeth Line (Previously TfL Rail) services out of Liverpool Street heading east use the slow lines.
Services between Liverpool Street and Shenfield operated by TfL currently operate every 7-8 minutes with additional Elizabeth Line services operating at peak times. Elizabeth Line services usually call at all stations. Once the core section of Crossrail fully opens (planned 6th November 2022) services on this route will become part of the Elizabeth Line operation through central London towards Paddington, Heathrow and Reading using the same 9 carriage class 345 trains, with services from this route planned to operate as far as Paddington to begin with.
Greater Anglia provide faster services between Liverpool Street and Shenfield with almost all services calling at Stratford only with Romford receiving 2 Greater Anglia fast services each hour off peak. Greater Anglia services continue towards Southend Victoria, Braintree, Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Ipswich, Norwich and other GEML destinations. Elizabeth Line services effectively operate a metro service on the GEML as far as Shenfield. On the slow lines out of Liverpool Street on weekends C2C operate a half hourly service to Shoeburyness via Barking which shares Elizabeth line platforms at Stratford. Out of Liverpool Street on separate tracks there are also Overground services towards Chingford, Enfield Town and Cheshunt via Hackney Downs.
This route is fully electrified throughout using overhead AC electrification. This route has a minimum of 4 tracks throughout with tracks paired by use not direction, the slow lines are on the Southern side until near Ilford where the switch over to the northern side with these tracks being the only ones used by the Elizabeth Line.
Elizabeth Line services provide connections with the London Overground North London Line to Richmond and Clapham Junction at Stratford and to Emerson Park and Upminster at Romford, there is an out of station interchange with the GOBLIN line at Manor Park to Woodgrange Park. At Stratford there is also interchange with the London Underground Central and Jubilee lines as well as the DLR to Canary Wharf, Stratford International (for Southeastern High Speed) and Woolwich Arsenal.
