Pace – Cole was more than fast enough with 91 pace to deal with any attackers coming down his side of the pitch. He feels just as quick moving with the ball which makes it easy to transition from defence to attack with this card.

Dribbling – His dribbling felt better than the stats suggest in game. 83 agility and 86 balance allowed Cole to turn quickly off the ball and he also felt surprisingly agile when moving with the ball too. 92 reactions meant Cole was always one of the first to react to changing situations and ball movement. His first touch and movement with the ball was also great, especially for a defensive player.

Shooting/attack positioning – Unfortunately I did not manage to take any shots with Cole in the games I played. Although, he does have 84 shot power which could be useful in front of goal. Cole did like to get forward occasionally to provide a wide option, even with his instructions set to stay back whilst attacking. He would be ideal for someone who likes their fullbacks/wingbacks to be involved in attacking play.

Passing – Although this category has only been given a small boost in stats compared to his Prime Icon, it was still impressive. Both his short and long range passing had a high level of accuracy and a decent amount of power to reach the intended player. His crossing was definitely one of the strongest areas of this Icon Moments. As he is left footed on the left side with 89 crossing, Cole is a great option when it comes to delivering dangerous crosses into the box.

Defending – Cole is one of the best defensive options at the leftback position in FIFA 22. He constantly made vital interceptions for me when my opponent was building a dangerous attack. Even though he does sometimes make forward runs, his defensive awareness at 92 pulls him back into position quickly so you are not left defensively open down his side of the pitch. Both his standing and slide tackles were incredible for me and Cole is able to make clean automatic tackles for the ball without you needing to press anything if given the opportunity.

Physical – His 82 jumping does make up for his lack of height which could be an issue when facing back post crosses. Cole has great stamina at 94 which allows him to run all game. This is especially important if you want him to get involved in attacking plays. Unfortunately, he does feel quite weak in game but he does have 88 aggression which allows him to win the majority of tackles he puts in.

Skill moves and weak foot – 4 star skill moves is great to have in any position and it will be useful if you do intend on attacking with this card. However he does only have a 2 star weak foot which can be quite limiting especially if you are cutting inside.
