Richard Tice, Deputy Leader of Reform UK, criticized the recent UK budget for increasing taxes by £40 billion, calling it an assault on jobs and risk-takers. He questioned the Office for Budget Responsibility's forecasts.
Tice also expressed scepticism about money allocated to the NHS, arguing that without structural reforms, the funds would be wasted. He welcomed the reduction in beer tax and the freeze on fuel duty, attributing the latter to his party's campaigning. Tice also called for more transparency in terror-related incidents to reduce misinformation, slamming Sir Lindsay Hoyle's gagging of speeches and questions about the Southport terror attack suspect.
