Pre-order: [ Ссылка ] // Produced by Hany Shenoda of Al Massrieen // While the first single was very upbeat and driving, this song introduces us to the more moody and mellow sounds of her album. Produced by Hany Shenoda the composition sounds very in line with what Hany was doing with his group Al Massrieen at the time ( Ezzat Abo Ouf (of 4m fame) & Mohamed El Sheikh as composers, musicians like Yehia Khalil and lyricists such as Omar Batisha were also involved in the recording of the album). When Maha recorded the album she had been part of the musical scene of Cairo for 10 years already: "And at that time, I was very famous because there weren’t any other female singers performing with the type of bands I did. I was probably the only one. And the labels at the time were searching for new voices to introduce, they got fed up with the old ones. For them they became too expensive and they were too demanding so they started searching for young voices and new talent. Eventually Sout El Hob approached me and proposed to record an album for them. The music was recorded in the beginning of 1979 over the course of 2-3 months in a studio in Maadi. In total we recorded only 6 songs because the budget was limited. We simply couldn’t afford more studio time".
