The small Ontario town of Woodstock was the setting for one of Canada’s most horrific child murders. 8-year-old Tori Stafford was abducted, raped, and brutally murdered on April 8, 2009. Her small body was found months later, stuffed into garbage bags and covered with rocks.
Terri-Lynne McClintic and Michael Rafferty were eventually convicted of first-degree murder. During the ordeal the seedy underbelly of Woodstock was revealed – many in the town were addicted to opioids, in particular OxyContin.
But the town did come together to help keep the as yet unsolved story alive until police found her missing body and captured the killers. With in-depth interviews with the families and investigators, we reveal the toll this small-town tragedy has taken on many lives.
Part 2 is airing Saturday, March 27 @ 7pm ET.
