A BIT NIPPY ON THIS THANKSGIVING EVE
It's hard to imagine how cold our numbers are outside and yet its late November with no snow on the ground to easily chill the air. But the weather works in mysterious ways.
The core of the arctic high will settle right on top of us on today diminishing those brisk winds. However, even with full sunshine, temperatures will only manage to climb around the mid 20s for daytime highs.
By Thanksgiving Day, this persistent northwest flow of late will become more zonal or west to east allowing temperatures to trend upward through the rest of the holiday weekend. After seeing highs near the mid 30s Thursday, readings should inch a few degrees more with upper 30s to lower 40s for the later half of the holiday weekend.
