Having been somewhat of a lull in Mainline activity, it was without doubt I had to try and make this one. Oddly of all the times I have seen Sutherland I have yet to see her in the backyard of Shap, so I decided to do a new spot in the area as well, Greenholme on this occasion. She is seen here starting to slow in the initial shot, but as you can tell from the going away 'grabs' she was absolutely dead on her feet by Scout Green. And the smell suggested maybe a coal issue? Very dark thick hanging clag all round. Interesting shot all round, hope you enjoy, or not as the case may be.
